Our homes were named for historic, famous estates.. The 54-room Vanderbilt Mansion in Hyde Park, NY, is one of the five, magnificent Vanderbilt homes. Now a National Historic Site, it was once primarily the summer house for Frederick William Vanderbilt and his wife. The original estate sat on 600 acres with its own hydroelectric plant on site to power electric lighting. This is an artist’s conceptual illustration of one of the elevations for our Plan F – The Vanderbilt.
